WTF is up with all of these multiple pop ads at the bottom of the screen now? shit is annoying AF. I understand that we have to pay the bills around here but there's gotta be a better way to do that...
13377251, Are you working from home?
Posted by WarriorPoet415, Wed Apr-08-20 01:30 PM
I've noticed I get more ads all around since i'm working from home.

I'm on my job's laptop using the vpn, but now I have access to more stuff and the ad blocker doesn't seem to be as thorough.

And yes, it's annoying.

13377259, Very annoying. They can do better than this.

Plus the ad placements are a scattered mess. There's the pop up ad at the bottom of the screen that's overlaying the ad underneath it while scrolling to the bottom of the page, and the ad at the top of the page as well. And I'm not installing any ad blocker crap on my computer. I don't need it for any other sites I visit. The fact I would need it for just this site is ridiculous.

I suspect this is all leading up to an eventual membership fee. Purposefully done to discourage enough folks to get on board with it.
13377565, I wouldn't mind the ads if they showed me stuff I want to buy

They almost never do tho. Instead I gets ads for shit that I'd *never* buy. Waste of my time letting that shit load.

..I'm not sure how much can be done to quell the issue you're describing at this time, but it will eventually be addressed.

*I've tried to duplicate the issue you're describing on multiple devices (apple and android), but haven't encountered anything more than the typical annoyance of navigating websites that run heavy ad-traffic/banners. That doesn't mean we aren't taking the complaint seriously.

For whatever reason it's not as bad on my iPhone right now so it seems like somebody is doing something. Still on my laptop though that huge bottom ad that comes up that keeps you from really seeing anything at the bottom of the page and half the time when you try to click the "X" to close the add it still pops up another window.
13378596, its not as bad on a phone but when you use an actual computer...

to access the site is when those ads are the worst
