I think we got about a quarter-inch total here in Philly. I don't ever remember it being this consistently warm all winter and getting almost no snowfall. I'm already putting plants outside and seeds in the ground. Mosquitoes probably gonna be partying hard this year.
The weather change is happening too fast. Getting worried, we already got too much shit going on right now.

we hardly get snow. the winter was definitely mild in dec and jan. i think more than usual. weve had snow in february before but its kind of rare for us. of course most people here dont realize february is the middle of winter and freaked out lol

Which is great cuz I hate snow. But also awful cuz I hate climate change and our general ignorance to it lol.
That said my parents live 40 minutes west of us, inland, and they got hammered with a couple of storms, including one Monday nite ...

I even can't imagine how much of a clusterfuck a major storm/flooding event would be here right now. I'm hoping for another uneventful flooding year like last year after getting hit hard three years in a row.

i live in tornado alley and the stroke belt. many folks here are especially susceptible to covid. i'm dreading a tornado or even strong winds knocking down power lines and there not being enough emergency response and/or utility workers to get things back up and running in a timely manner. on a good day it takes 16+ hours to get power restored in my area. some areas of the city have to go even longer without power. the whole city might be completely offline for several days if the wrong thing happens at the wrong time

Yeah, anything that could cause a large number of people to become temporarily homeless and have to seek out some time of shelter. I don't even know how/if that would work right now.

Got big storms in October and right before Thanksgiving, and some smaller ones since then. Snowed about 6 inches a few days ago. 65 today. First year with a snow blower and don't regret it one bit.
