13374503, I went hiking - and had social un-distancing Posted by handle, Sun Mar-22-20 12:11 PM
First, the hiking in San Diego is INSANELY packed right now so I've started to hike the "B-list" hikes to avoid people. Yesterday was Mt. Gower, which is about a 40 minute drive from my house. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/mt-gower-open-space-preserve-trail
Went with 2 friends but we remained at least 10 feet apart, never EVER touched each other.
Looking back now I think that maybe that's even too close when hiking becuase we're walking through the same air (the person in the front is safer than the one in the back.)
Later that night my mother came by because I had ordered some milk for her from Amazon fresh. She touched about 10,000 things in my house so after she left I had to wipe down the kitchen, the remote control to the TV, tv light fixture, etc. If she's got it then I likely got it too - we'll know in a few days.
She brought me some gloves but she had taken each set and shoved them in each other so every set has been touched A LOT. I'm going to wait 5 days to use the gloves.
