I've also read numerous reports out of China & Europe that show younger patients (under 60) having serious complications with Covid-19. Also, it seems that a small (but not insignificant) percentage of patients who recover sustain varying levels of organ damage - and because this is a novel virus - we don't have any long-term data to assess any lingering effects that could be in play.

There also seems to a fair amount of cases where patients have been infected, recovered, and then been re-infected again. Some health care workers seem to be getting hit with particularly nasty cases - so there may also been some correlation with increased exposure leading to more severe symptoms/cases.

Finally the U.S. is starting to shut down and take this seriously - but anyone (regardless of age) who is being cavalier about this is doing a disservice both to themselves and their communities.
