i keep trying to calmly explain to people who don't give a fuck about this that it's not about them. I'm not worried about getting sick, but I'm terrified of passing it to my grandma, or to someone who passes it on to their parents or grandparents, or sick relatives or healthcare workers, etc..

the slower this spreads the less painful it's gonna be for everyone. the more lives you're gonna save. I still saw bars full of people last night on the way home and there's a weird combo right now of both panic and dismissal. Neither are helpful. the latter is downright dangerous.
