All gas powered and self-propelled.

If it's a big lawn, definitely get self-propelled. Also if it's a big lawn, definitely don't bother with the battery powered or corded electric brands.

The Deere was the only one I bought used, which happened to be my favorite as far as performance. The Honda was a reliable beast and the Craftsman wasn't bad. Oh, and a Toro weed wacker and manual hedge trimmers.

Now I just hire the chore out, the guy who does it is efficient and amazing. He uses a one of those zero-turn riding mowers, unsure of the brand. His dexterity using the weed wacker and hedge clipper is outstanding, I believe they're DeWalt and battery powered (they're yellow). What he does in 20 mins would have taken me 3 hours.
