I would think it would serve his be$t intere$t$ to let folks ponder and wonder what the hell else he has in his book rather than spill the beans in an interview where he may not be able to control for flow of the conversation and shape things to his agenda.

I fact, I wonder if Bolton will reject the Senate calling him as a witness just to suppress any info that might be in his book just to drive up sales. That's assuming of course the Senate agrees to call any witnesses, much less him, which may or may not occur.
