But they’re not at the forefront of leadership, of thought, or anything meaningful outside of dollars and visibility

And I liken that to a low self image. That a person who had devoted so much of their own existence to praising the divinity of an other ... likely has low esteem of self.
And your praise of celebs ... doing the lowest of shit parallels to that.
