You've got folks glorifying and longing for the GWB years, which is just totally insane if you actually take just a second and try and remember just how bad those 8 years were. The easiest way to look at it is to remember that the Bush Jr./Cheney years were SO BAD that Racist Ass America elected a black president to succeed him.

I hesitate to call the GWB years "worse" than what's happening now (I think the longterm ramifications of what I-1 is doing will be harder to reverse) but they are not far off. Just an entirely different variety of horrible.
