I mistyped and meant to say I wouldn't do this to my daughter. Or better yet I doubt I would do this to my daughter.
Again, I think it's crude and extra and especially to talk about it in public...if he actually does it, but I am not convinced this makes him a terrible parent.
I don't know the kid or their dynamic and I've grown super annoyed with how the internet looks into other people's lives and judges what may work for them.
I guess part of me keeps returning to the idea that within our community we don't have a problem with black dads being too involved with their children lives but quite the opposite. I guess I am giving dude points for giving a shit when so many dads don't. I know it's a low bar but I am dealing with this every day within my own family tree.
