The baby has the flu. My parents response “y’all need to isolate, I don’t wanna get sick” my sister talking about “guess we can’t come over” , now my wife is in the group text apologizing for a sick baby, her mom is trying to say don’t feel bad. My dad is on some “I can’t afford to get sick” shit like he doesn’t have sick leave.

What the entire hell is wrong with my family?

It’s been like this for two years. Between being in their house since June or when her mom was coming down every day. Just grown folks TOO comfortable in our day to day. So I sent this


“Kids get sick. We'll wipe down things and rest up. I'll knock out the next few hours at work and then head home. Jessica said we need like humidifier stuff, mom you need anything? Dad you need anything? Sister do y'all have your flu shots?”

But I also went and scanned our W2’s and I’m going full steam ahead on this house paperwork because I’m not about to be doing this goofy shit.
