The fact that about half of the House Democratic Caucus didn't dare to take a public position on impeachment over the Mueller report, but now they've nearly all called for at least an "inquiry" (whatever that means) speaks for itself.

And then there's Mitt Romney. Just a few days ago he said "if the President said what was alleged here, it would be very serious indeed" (or something like that). He was probably trying to play the centrist, of course, and hoping a transcript would never come out to force him to take sides. But now that it has and it shows Trump saying precisely what was alleged, does Mitt at least admit that there might be grounds for considering impeachment? Now that the stock market is looking so much less hot than a few months ago, do other Senators take the opportunity to follow Mitt and jump ship?

It's all still VERY unlikely that it leads to Trump's removal, or even that it hurts Trump at all in the long run. But something could be brewing.
