There is enough on record, in the public, to sustain evidence of a crime. And it's not just the phone call, it's really the actual withholding of aid for a political purpose.

And most importantly all of this happened while he was the president.

The russia stuff is way less clear because there isn't clear quid pro quo (what exactly did Trump do in exchange for Russia's help? And who did he make a deal with?).

Add that to Trump outliving his usefulness to Republicans.

I can really see a scenario where Rupert Murdoch picks up the phone and calls head of fox news and says, ok we are done with him, release the hounds.
