Hung out with my dad all day on Friday. Cleaned the kitchen up for him..talked about my mom, Jay Z, Cam Newton, Michael Irvin vs. Jerry Rice..it was dope.

Saturday-checked out a dude thats in our little facebook music sharing group at his gig. Really dope spot. Went to my gig and man...the love I felt in there was off the charts. Was supposed to play from 2-630...ended up playing until almost 8. Went to this spot called Soul afterwards with the owner and had a "quasi-date" with someone I've called "NL (next lifetime)" and "Kryptonite". It was soooooooo cool being with somebody that shares your same energy, and we've known each other for years, so it's not like it was on some "yeah yall just met though". Man that was nice.

Went to visit my moms grave for the first time on Sunday. That was surreal.

Monday..ehh..back to the grind. Finally finished "Mad Dogs" on Amazon. Started working on a new cassette with some of the new records I got over the weekend.

It's tuesday...so far so good..
