Imho if Bernie was actually serious about his politics he would've ran as a Green from jump where the Dem party couldn't neutralize his threat, his politics actually fit, he could've consolidated the anti-establishment vote, and his name ID/popularity would've helped the GP solidify ballot lines in every state and overthrow 2 party dominance - a tangible outcome of his 'revolution' that wouldve transformed US politics forever.
