ive been waiting for the murs, not sure whats up with the chali 2na album it was on reddit yesterday but not today. when i google it chali 2na tweeted that its out so i think it is. im checking out for sure even though i havent heard a decent solo project by him yet. i guess ill see whats up with blueface. im not big on rick ross but ill probably check it out. im not really a singles type of dude but if any of these are must listens let me know, especially if theyre on yet to be released albums or stand alone singles.

murs album was really good, i have it at 4.5/5 and i dont think thats inflated. definitely keeping it in rotation.

2na finally has a good solo album. i wont say great but i really enjoyed it. hopefully it holds up on repeat listens. i see it as 4/5 or close to 4. 3.5 would be too low.

I tried to listen to it once on the road and once in the crib and, despite the good features and crisp production, it just doesn't do it for me. I'm gonna run it back again later

granted i did play it after facing 2 joints and firing up FIFA.

I ran it back a third time at work, and outside of MM VI and the tracks w Gunplay and Jeezy, I'm good. It probably just isn't for me

really good beats. ross has a great voice but his rapping is just so basic. it got better towards the end. theres some songs that i do like.

i wasnt sure what sound to expect. it was super polished but very well done. well see how it holds on more listens but definitely a top album of the year.

rich brian is definitely not as good but i did like this album more than the one he did last year. the beats were pretty good. the rapping was fine. the singing was mostly meh.

Kinda excited about this one because I Want You Around is one of the best songs of the year and Find Someone Like You is damn good too.
I like You and Situationship less. But if the other's are an indications it should be a great project.

My first Thugger project was Slime Language but now I see what the fuss is about

and the Rich Gang mixtape w/ Quan. higher highs, lower lows. his delivery could get really out there back then and some of the shit he tried whiffed big time. its toned down now and it seems like it's hitting with a wider audience now.

it's got some high points but seems really uneven (more so than usual for a Thugger album). the bad choruses remind me of Slime Season 2.

I think Slime Season, Slime Season 3, Jeffery and Beautiful Thugger Girls are all easily above this one.

not sure if my tastes have just switch back to more backpack lean but i could not get with this at all.

one of the best albums i've heard this year, EASILY.

took me a couple of tracks to get into it but its pretty good. nice weekend cruising music.

So far, I've gotten through the Jeezy joint. I dig it. Reminds me so much of the '04 - '09 era of ATL. Took it back to his essence.

I've started the Ab-Liva joint but wasn't terribly impressed after I got through a few songs. I wanted more Ab than I did Spade. May revisit later. Then again, I may not because I've recently become a huge fan of Griselda Records (Conway, Benny, and Westside) who holds it down with the coke raps over some beautifully grimy production.

Plus, I was ready to hear the Rapsody jawn. I'm on "Cleo" right now. Shordy is bad on the mic.

Never heard Little Brother's music but I dig Phonte on his own. So, I'm gonna dive into this second release before going to The Minstrel Show. Never enough time to get to all of the music that comes out. I will this weekend though.

Like I said, HELLUVA RELEASE DATE (WEEK).

so great to hear an album full of raps in 2019. i really hope this gets the shine it deserves. i have a few favorite albums for the year but i think this one wins over them.

i love these albums and they would each be worthy of AOTY but Eve i think beats them out.

I think her voice is gonna be one of those love it or hate it things. I love it. Album is slow and moody. A break-up album. I thought more people would care after her appearance on ROTD3, but that's a big nope.

It's been a wrap ever since. Hopped on a bus and took a day trip to Philly to catch her in concert last year. She's cool AF in person too

i got a bit bored in the middle but it picked up again. i dont see it as a personal fav but i can see it being so for others. its really great. top 15 of the year probably.

I wasn't disappointed by any of them.

Rapsody & Raphael have 2 of the best albums I've heard in 2019. Raphael *really* knocked it out of the park all the way around. And Rapsody ripped it on her album through & through.

Dope ass jazz singer and cool rendition of “Green Eyes” on the album. Really feeling LB, Saadiq, Rapsody and Jeezy’s albums. Just ran Snoh’s album. Definitely a contender for soul album of the year.

This World is Drunk is the early favorite. Heavy subject matter but you really can’t miss with Saadiq. Very different from his previous work, still really good music.

Saadiq needed this.

is my jam from the new Snoop album. Chris Brown one too.

snoop sounds good but too much filler. the sound was a bit different than i was expecting. i think some songs will grow on me.
