no matter what else was going on, no matter how bad my day had been

One day I was walking my kid around the neighborhood when she was still a baby and I watched a Father walk into his house and heard them scream Daddy!!!
Now my kids do it and it’s such a great feeling.
But those days where I’m walking in and it’s screams and crying... whew

HELL NO.
I will never let them stay this long again. 2 weeks is the max.
I had some anxiety about work yesterday. Since it’s a new role I don’t want to fuck it up but I have to own this shit. Also think I need to chill on the extra curricular activities. I think it’s planting seeds of doubt and I don’t need that right now.
I’m thinking about taking some coding courses.
All that money we are supposed to save from not paying for daycare. That money be gone after settling debts and fixing stuff around the house.

And it's so weird, cause, just like last time, I don't miss it....

Havent been tested yet. Got a free weekend (kid in Panama City, wife in Charlotte) and I'm planning on going out. We'll see..
I've been to two AA meetings. The 2nd one was the "I'm _____ and I'm an alcoholic" one. It was strange hearing the "blackout" stories and thinking to myself "I don't need to be here..I aint never been that type", but everybody aint the same. They gave me my "big book" and I realized I already had one, lol (bought it from Goodwill), so now I have one to gift to someone. Missed the meeting last night (woulda got my one week chip!) but I'll go to the one (or two) on friday and get it.
I'll tell you this..I sleep alot better since I stopped drinking, lol.
