13355531, Sounds just like "Pony".

I dig it but hope he gave the proper credit to Ginuwine lest he end up like Pharrell/Robin Thicke hah.
13355550, I thought you were going to say Chaka Kahn and Rufus
Posted by Buddy_Gilapagos, Tue Nov-12-19 04:19 PM

13355537, One of my favorite albums of the year.

It sounds a lot like Frank Ocean's early work. There are songs on there that would fit right in on Nostalgia Ultra or Channel Orange. And interestingly, they're both from New Orleans. I would imagine Frank, though younger, is a big influence on Lucky.

Saw him in concert about a month ago... and it was wild. Dude is lowkey a huge sex symbol apparently. You would think he was D'Angelo circa '00 the way these women were cutting up at the show.
13355539, one of my favs of the year.

America has imported more warlord theocracy from Afghanistan than it has exported democracy.

13355890, Funny I find it juuust the right amount of cussing.

I sometimes have a problem with Neo-Soul being too bland and clean but at the same time young cats like Chris Brown turn me off by being too crass.

D'Angelo was always my favorite is because he split the difference between the two so well. This dude remains me of D'angelo in that regard.

Compared to a lot of his contemporaries, Lucky's cursing is not excessive. Pretty mild in my opinion.
13359489, Definitely.

and it makes his music sound more juvenile than enjoyable.

13355871, real games

They just released a deluxe album of some sort. Not sure what makes it deluxe but it made me listen again and this dude is the truth.
