I think because besides his talent, Nip was just an inspiration to everyone through his moves and was positioning himself to be a leader on multiple fronts. Whether Gary V or the Breakfast Club, I never heard Nip speak in an interview without talking about who and what he's learned from and inspiring others along their own path. Even if you weren't a fan of the music, I think his humble hustle, articulateness, and endearing nature made him more relatable across hip-hop generations than say a Hov or Lil Whoever. He was someone we wanted to get behind and see succeed.
