I think alot of people don't understand this..there is only so much bandwidth on a daily basis...it cannot hold every single previous news story + every single current news story

once something has mainstream attention, it then shifts out of the national/global awareness into the local one

so while "no one" is technically still talking about the Flint water crisis, its a constant story/item to every single local person / entity, as it should be.
