What I'm not getting is why you're projecting your rationale onto everyone else.

I.e, your explanation is in second-person perspective, "You should/shouldn't".

You can have your rationale for why you wouldn't, but I'm trying to u derstand your rationale for determining that nobody else should want it either.

Basically you're presenting this in a manner similar to the way militant vegans do in determining that others should also be vegan.
