13318376, samsung s10 with support for cryptocurrency Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Fri Mar-08-19 09:08 AM
this is the first smartphone that i'm excited about, might have to flat out buy this bitch today. *edit* reading that it may just be an app. outside of that, it has remote charging (works with iphone) and like 3 cameras.

13318393, Ok. A phone built specifically for crypto or mining seemed suspect Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Mar-08-19 10:14 AM

13318399, the wireless charging of other devices is dope Posted by mista k5, Fri Mar-08-19 10:31 AM
that might be an actual feature that would make me want it. there have been times that my smartwatch is low and im not going to carry around the charger for it with me day to day. i do take it with me when i travel, maybe i wouldnt need to if i can charge the watch with my phone??
if i was in the market for a new phone the s10 is definitely a nice option.
im not sure i understand the crypto thing. does it let you use that balance in any store through samsung pay?

13318441, according to this article, in the near future Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Fri Mar-08-19 01:08 PM
if not already: https://www.coindesk.com/hands-on-preview-of-samsungs-galaxy-s10-phone-reveals-new-crypto-details
samsung signed a contract with enjin coin too, that's why it's up big. apparently the coin is integrated into the s10: https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2019/03/enjin-coin-enj-up-560-in-one-month-thanks-to-samsung-s-galaxy-s10/

13318447, im so out of the loop on crypto Posted by mista k5, Fri Mar-08-19 01:19 PM
what excites you about this being on the phone?
|
13318452, Yeah. Not sure what makes it attractive to have on a phone. Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Mar-08-19 01:28 PM
What’s the benefit?

13318453, i don't know, earning money(coins) while playing games Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Fri Mar-08-19 01:28 PM
on the phone? not really a gamer, but played when i was younger. the gaming culture is huge already, monetizing it this way should gain even more users.
initially, the coin itself is to be used for virtual goods, such as in-game items and collectibles players can swap across platforms.

13318507, that could beat out these google opinion rewards Posted by mista k5, Fri Mar-08-19 03:29 PM
i keep stacking google credit, up to $115 right now, but i can only use it for soft purchase on the google play store. if the crypto can be used anywhere and im making it while playing a game instead of answering annoying, sometimes very personal, questions then hmm.
