I especially like that fact that she sings a bit lower. Too much R&B now is sky high in terms of the melody, and there too much "head-whisper" singing, where it almost sounds like you're singing at a low volume, to yourself. She's singing from her chest, which is good.

I wish there a stronger, more connected, and more visible R&B scene for young people to come up in, compete against, and push each other in, like there always was before about 15 years ago. That's what it takes to make talented people get better.
