13281839, Wayne was not writing lyrics period at that time on some Jay-Z shit Posted by Nodima, Thu Aug-23-18 01:11 PM
And his output was so prolific that it would be silly to assume otherwise.
Curren$y also has some claim to ghostwriting some portions of Tha Carter 2, and I'd fully believe that Wayne heard those dudes working their own material out and strong-armed some ideas from them for his own projects.
But the Gillie situation is one of those "if you wrote that, why did your own music flop so hard?" arguments that makes it uninteresting to me. Funnily enough, if he hadn't tried so hard to have his own rap career I'd have an easier time believing it.
