Bought some of them "Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Watermelon/ Crapes" pre-cut up "fresh" fruit bowls from the supermarket and not one was "right."
One had the cantaloupe that was hard as a rock, another the honeydew was too hard, and one hard grapes that were too old.
Other than buying the fruit and ripening it at home and making it myself, is there a way to good a good fruit bowl at a retial store??

It's either not ripe or over ripe.

fruit needs a few days to sit/ripen..imo
also, try the fruit at the salad bars they have in supermarkets...
