there are a lot of street artists that do 3D with chalk and all that, so you've seen it before, but the complexity in his pieces and the use of light and different concepts like the underwater one is mind-boggling.

His regular large murals are really good too

he mixed granola hoteppery with technique and did a gang of work, live art, etc.

now a lot of street artists have surpassed that level in murals, where characters still kind of look like graffiti characters versus actual people etc.

Still he incorporates that 90s 'conscious' sensibility into his work that you can't really find anywhere else exactly how he does it.

Don't know exactly when Daim started but he did come to Miami in 99 and painted this with other Miami writers
