The ride to/from the tour is part of the journey for me, so I include it in my calculated mileage for the day (about 75 miles round trip). I don't think the route for the Tour De Staten Island is safe. They don't have enough route support and I've seen too many accidents. skatin' the rings of saturn* ..and miles to go before i sleep...
