It clear why someone would go this route versus releasing several albums or EPs. You just end up getting more spins if it is one long playlist versus 3 or 4 EPs. It is shaping up like this Album/Playlist will end up getting more spins then all Kanye EPs combined just by virtue of people hiting play and listening to it continuously as oppose to jumping around to different EPs (I still haven't heard the Cudi Kanye EP all the way).

But you'll never have a GREAT Album if it includes 25+ tracks.

I will do the same thing I did with More Life, I make my own playlist with only the tracks I want and it will still be as long as your average album and would arguably be a great album.

I don't think Albums are dead but it does seems like a new way people get music with the EPS, Playlist, etc.
