If he knows better and is just saying that type of shit for attention like you claim, IMO it's even worse than if he was just plain stupid and actually believes the shit he is saying/tweeting. America is like 80% stupid people. And there are stupid fans of Kanye's who will follow his every word and action so if he claims he likes the way Candace Owens thinks, others will follow. He's got a lot of influence.

So he's either lying for attention and is therefore wildly negligent and irresponsible, or he's telling the truth and is therefore really fucking stupid and got Kardashian'd.

Neither instance is ideal. Both should be maligned at every turn.
