it was a much different in tone from the previous eps, and it worked well
it was a great exploration of the shit Black men have to do to get by in America and how much we fuck up, get fucked, are frustrated, yet still hella smart/talented/resourceful...
the Spotify/NPR office scene(s) was eerie as fuck (Get Out vibes) and so accurate (I worked next to NPR a couple yrs ago) and they repp'd the Black-White office space relationships so fucn well
Darius and Al trying to get a new connect was weed/hood-suburb culture to the nth degree
the opening scene was a bit much for me, it felt forced funny
but yeah, i really love the levels of this show
