Ashkenaz from which Ashkenazi is derived is descended from Japheth which would make them Europeans not Semites as is detailed in the tanakh i.e. the jewish bible.


Palestinians are Semitic (to say the least) as are many or most arabs.

So you have a group of people who are mostly if not entirely European/Caucasian actually persecuting folks who are genetically semitic (by blood) and when you speak against the Ashkenazi who isn't a semite somehow it's anti-semetic.
