13213500, Winter Albums Post Posted by Dstl1, Fri Nov-17-17 10:47 AM
As I rolled out the house to hit the gym this morning at 430 somethin...it was a brisk 31 degrees. My drive to gym is about 10 minutes. I was thinking about if I wanted to go podcast or music and if music, what. Took me about 2 minutes to come up with one of my favorite cold weather albums of life...Keith Murray: Enigma. Joint is so good. Add on...any genre, old or new.

Dah Shinin Hell On Earth The Natural Iced Down Medallions Muddy Waters Liquid Swords Livin Proof Wrath of the Math
A few of these were released in the spring or even summer, but they're still quintessentially winter albums to me.

13213872, What qualifies an album to be wintery? Posted by MeshaMeesh, Sat Nov-18-17 10:14 PM
I just want to know if anyone can put that feeling into words, because I can't
"I'm twenty-two, catch In the prime of my life, I don't have time to be a wife"

"She was on that tip about stoppin' the violence About my people she was teachin' me..."

13213876, albums you'd listen to while aggressively trekking through the tundra. Posted by rorschach, Sat Nov-18-17 10:40 PM
Timb-friendly music.....preferably anything featuring Prodigy of Mobb Deep.
If you don't have anything featuring Prodigy, any rap album or song produced by The Alchemist, Havoc or DJ Premier will do.

Maybe not the whole album, but that song? Takes me right back to stepping through the snow, slush, ice in my Timbs while walking across campus.
