dems can grill them on Roy Moore and they will have no "what about" retort. The two situations aren't even close to the same, but this gives the republicans no excuses. It's good to have your side be totally clean before you go attacking the other side for their morals. it will hurt them in the short term but it will help in the long term, I think Franken knows this and that's why he's okay with stepping down. also, it's just the right thing to do. I have a feeling this is a political hit job on Franken but I still believe the women, so he's gotta go.
