As said in the twitter thread above, in financial crimes prosecutors can insist that the people charged have to show that the money that they're using for bail isn't "ill-gotten." Considering that they're both charge with money laundering, and Manafort worked for Trump free of charge, proving they legitimately have the money may not be see easy.
