I've produced hip hop music since I was 13 years old (1990). The biggest hip hop producer in Canada during the mid 90s granted me free studio time in exchange for the right to use my sessions in sampling for some of the biggest Toronto hip hop acts of that era. So my guitars, keyboards and other random instruments appear on several seminal Toronto hip hop albums from that era. I won an award for best independent Toronto hip hop album in 2002. I've produced music for around 10 different acts. Some of whom became moderately successful (one is currently signed to the Wutang label). I performed in a live hip hop band for around 7 years and opened for several prominent artists during the late 90's. Here's a random song I made in 1997:

The hip hop culture we knew in the 80's and 90's would be going crazy on Trump's head right now and we'd be having anthem after anthem coming out. I acknowledged the YG 'Fuck Donald trump' song that I loved. The beat's amazing...the lyrics are amazing. The whole thing is amazing. There should be more of that. Tribe and Eminem and a few others are doing their part but those are contemporary acts at this point. I'm looking to the younger generation of hip hop to take a stronger stand. There was an option for you to direct me to any other relevant song you think I should be aware of.

I'll critique whatever the hell I damn well please.
