Her whole D.R.U.G.S crew at the time was black LA dudes writing her raps and beats etc...
Southern dudes taught her how to rap.. hence the accent..
She was the first casualty in the modern cultural appropriation wars.. I don't think she was prepared to be used as a pawn by the media (her having a #1 record when Nicki wasn't as successful).. and reacted extremely poorly vs azalea and q tip..
add in some bad tweets from 18 yr old iggy and a knack for defending her grind over just shutting the fuck up...
