every weekend we dig in the crates and play some random stuff in the morning.

Came across this Wave album by Antonio Carlos Jobim

The break at 58 sec and 2:05 is a thing of beauty

yeah that is a cool song though, so smooth and mellow.

more wos/black tray, less amin.

Sidenote - before I knew what they looked like, in my head Wos looked like 100 Bulletz https://s3.amazonaws.com/battlerap-production/2014/12/100-Bulletz-BO4.jpg

And Jade - I can't remember the actor's name, but I always pictured him as an older italian dude, come to find out he's like early 30s & just plain white.
13172213, Bossa and Samba are both amazing genres.

Check some Jorge Ben out for some serious jams.

13172704, I don't know if it's the best but it's a marvel of an album

there are times on that record where the mixing is so impeccable, it's damn near a spiritual experience. On the opening song it's hard to tell if Ron Carter is playing upright or elecric.

13172627, got to see some cool live shit in brazil, though less than you'd expect

i had to really seek it out but there were some shows and one bossa nova bar. really beautiful music. a lot of the popular stuff i saw was cool, too, lots of fusion of black american styles and different types of rock with the local influence. great country for music no doubt
13172664, man, there's so much greatness in Brazilian music
