Of course I made up for it by having four unexpected trips to the ER because apparently gall stones suck really badly and interfere with sleep.

THEY GAVE ME AN ULTRASOUND. I ain't never been more degraded in my life than that moment. I even told the tech this is absurd. They had the nerve to tell me my liver is messed up and they need to remove a bladder. I told them fuck no and asked for some botanicals to vape to calm my nerves.

I'm out here spreading my seed being reckless as shit yet somehow avoiding charges. Y'know the usual.

Let me ask you questions:

How's life?
What's the weather like?
What can I say to young black adult scared of being shot by the police for breathing while black?
What's your over/under on the amount of seats Dems gain the house/senate?
13167750, well damn... clearly you're doing the most

Life is ok... been having a rough patch the last few years, but i'm getting back on track for the most part.

>What's the weather like?
It's been hot as balls. I don't do heat. I specifically moved here because I don't like heat. so the few days when the temps creep up into the 80s and 90s and we swelter with no a/c are the worst. we actually got a hotel last weekend cuz i needed a/c.

Fuck if I know, but if you figure it out, let me know. I don't have too much time before i have to have that convo with my son...

shhheeeeiiiiiiiittttttt
I can't even call it. They're desperate but have made no attempts to change their SOP.
13167748, Was planning to take next week off, but that now looks unlikely
Posted by mrhood75, Wed Jun-21-17 11:25 PM
The other person on my team is saying she's out "indefinitely." I feel bad for her, because her boyfriend is having series issues, and the job are being assholes about granting her leave. She's taking paid vacation this week, and I imagine she won't be here next week either. All said, she hasn't really been around much during the better part of the last two months.

All that said, I now have to find a way to do two people's jobs by myself. I can manage to my job and like half of her job and be okay on a daily basis. But doing both our jobs for an extended period is going to suck. I'm certainly not getting paid enough to do both jobs on my own.
13167751, hmmm

If she's gone indefinitely is there no $ to bring someone on temporarily?
13167757, I like my boss a lot, but he's not the most organized gentleman
Posted by mrhood75, Thu Jun-22-17 12:50 AM
So I have no idea if he can get it together to bring in a temporary fill-in. Plus, what she does (and what I do) are specialized enough that it's not exactly stuff that a temp can do. Compound that with the fact that things happen verrrrrryyyyyy slllllllooooowwwwly at my job, I don't know if they're going to be able to get it to bring in a temporary replacement anytime soon.

I'm sort of resigned to the fact I'm going to have to do two people's job, not take much of a break this summer, and just ask for a good-sized raise/bonus at the end of the year.
13167758, yuck

I'm in the pharmaceutical industry, so we're pretty thoroughly regulated. As a result, there's a pretty complicated process involved to get people trained.
