Barack went out of his way to be one of the 'good ones' because he knew America def. wasn't ready for a 'Black' president. Its why his campaign was almost derailed for just sitting in a black church listening to regular black church stuff (Jeremiah Wright) and how he had to carefully navigate that Henry Gates shit (notice it wasn't that much different from his Trayvon Martin comment four years later but the stark difference in response) and why many posters here still hate him outside of the usual President in charge of Western Oppression shit.

Hilary ran strongly on pro-woman (and even race) issues.
