cuz teenage me loved it so much. I also loved Point Break when i was 13 and didn't realize how bad it was until later. Still love them both, but now embrace the badness.

KK3 is just bad. It lacks the bombast required to really qualify as a "so bad it's good" movie.

Samurai Cop just sounds like a terrible movie that nobody would ever want to watch.

When people talk about something being so bad it's awesome, KK3 doesn't fit that bill. It's just plain bad.

Samurai Cop though? Unintentional comedy throughout the entire thing.

They had to do some reshoots, and the actor had already cut his hair. So there are all these random scenes where dude is rockin a wig with a baseball cap over it, but in the very next scene he has his normal hair.

This thing has scenes where it's, say, 3PM during a fight, but cuts to his partner- who is there with him- and it's clearly much later in the day. Cut back to the fight and it's 3PM again!

At one point the driver of a van is a completely different guy when he gets out.

Samurai Cop has a cult following at this point. I'm telling you... check those links. It's the living embodiment of "so bad it's good".

Scarface isn't even bad IMO. It's a good movie. Yeah, it's cheesy, but it's a good movie. It arguably over-performs, being greater than the sum of it's individual parts had any right to be but there's ultimately something magical about it. Perhaps with a different cast it's just another mediocre film in the dollar bin.

But SC? So much unintentional hilarity. It's amazing.

Treat yourself with a few minutes of your time.

He doesn't make bad movies.

I still can't find any redeeming qualities in David, even after he "learns" his "lesson". Why does this guy get a second chance???

Tom basically threw in all the pop culture shit he was into at the time into the movie. Did it really contribute to the story??? Still not sure.

But I still enjoyed it.

I never watched this movie until about a year ago. It was on TV and we were fucking rolling. The dancing was sooo bad in this movie it's awesome.

Kevin Bacons must have been the choreographer. Dude was jumping around and fist pumping off beat. It's like a terrible crossfit video for an MTV pilot show from the 80's

The rest are either 'good' because of nostalgia, or because we didn't yet have high standards yet.

As is Predator.
As is Total Recall.
As is Point Break.

Those are four non-nostalgia-based classics. Nothing bad about them.

A few others are debatable, but I'll chill after those four, because I won't hear a soul call them "bad" by any definition. Strong characters, strong world-building, strong action across the board.

And I love Predator.

a lot of Arnold's 80's movies are great bad movies, but Terminator and Total Recall are actually just great movies all around.
