yesterday, I had a video interview with a potential employer. It was weird but, things went well.

I called off work too...
that's 5 days in the past 30

We just had a guy call in and my boss was like "who are you?"

Dude says "I work for you"

"Oh...I forgot, it's been so long (2 or 3 days) well, it's pretty hard to get fired from here and you can at least show up so I can fire you"

I've earned the reputation as one of the go hard party folks in the company so everyone was like "BG you going hard tonight!?!?!?"

I was like naw I got stuff to do. So I got to the party late and a bunch of people were leaving including my CEO and My CEO asked "Will I see you at work tomorrow?" and I was like no problem.

I left soon after he left and got home before midnight and I was so proud of myself for not going hard. Then at 4 in the morning one of my boys come in my room throwing up and he was sick all morning. So he couldn't go to school and I had to stay home with him and when I emailed folks from work, including my CEO, to say I was working from home the CEO responds "yeah right. More like your sick!"

Thought about showing up for work dragging a sick six year old with me.

when I was back home..

during a meeting we had to introduce ourselves to a new group of people and tell a little about ourselves. I said something like, "I'm shy". My boss was like, " not at the holiday parties".

I'm cool sober and cooler when I'm drinking...

and everyone is smiling at you shaking their head like "wow we saw a whole nother side of you"
