I've spent around 30 or 40 hours the past few days knee-deep in the alt-right internet world. (Trying to pass time while working on this Aussie open) Feels like I got a pretty good handle on it now. I'll make a post about it shortly. But simply calling them Neo-nazis is somewhat lazy. Their appeal is broader (and more dangerous) than what we usually call 'neo-nazi' for real reasons and I think it's important to identify those reasons. They overlap with a lot of socio-psychological trends that are even present on this board.
