While the savings just at first glance don't seem that much it accrues over time. This last for the life of an FHA loan so it would vary based on loan amount but the one i am looking at now increased $33 on $170K home. That is almost 12K in payments that they did not have to make before. Plus in order to qualify for a mortgage that $33 can be the difference between you qualifying for a loan and not qualifying for some people.
