I'm home and back at work...

what's up wit' ya?

after a few days it was boring
and before you ask...no, I didn't see him
I left early. Made it home for NYE to open gifts with the family
then rested for two days..

the kids are doing great. little guy is all over the damn place, won't sit still for 2 seconds. and he's started doing this high pitched, loud ass scream when he wants something. holy shit, it's ear piercing. he mostly does it when he wants more food or its not coming fast enough. smh. i eat dinner with my hand over one ear to keep from going deaf on the side he's sitting.

but sometimes she does a Ja Rule "hey" loud as shit.

She is a bully when that food comes out.

and i know, don't give him what he wants when he screams like that, but damn CUT THAT SHIT OUT, KID!! haha

I had just picked him up too to see what he wanted, and he caught me right in my ear.

I looked him right in the eyes, held him away from me, then put him back in his crib, walked out of his room, closed the door behind me, went back downstairs and turned the music up.

I told her that I didn't.
real nasty too...

over drinks with my cousin and my bff, my bff goes, "have to talk to so and so?". I replied, "I told you we don't mention his name anymore". She goes, "uh huh" and high fives my cousin. They laughed. I was so pissed because her and I had just made a pact to never mention his name again.

I hate it...

Might be a $5-$10 fix, or free if the jawn just needs to be cleaned. My jawn's still chugging away after I cleaned it up and got it running.

then I thought it was the hot surface igniter but the 3 red blinks means the safety valve is open.

The induction fan kicks in but no flame and the igniter isn't glowing.

Gonna check the roof to see if a vent is clogged by some leaves.

right now the house is 68 degrees. space heater has kept the rooms warm and I went old school and turned on the oven to heat the kitchen/living room.

my neighbor is an HVAC guy but I would love to figure it out on my own.

I was dirty-as-heck by the time I got done. Proud tho.

It's an old (90s?) furnace, and it looked like it hadn't been gone through in over a decade. Air filter hadn't been changed for years. I had to cement around the exhaust pipe because that jawn was just stuck into the chimney flue unsealed. I went through and cleaned everything except the fan.

need oral surgery - one of my old root canals is acting up

new office rules - I guess I'm supposed to be at.my.desk. period unless I'm on break or lunch. this chick is REALLY mad. she's dating a washed-up R&B sanger and her personal, control issues are spilling over into work.

New Year's Resolution: find a new job.

I have my performance review coming up...

one of the things I did back home was talk to my professional mentor. I wanted advice on what/how to write in my self review. I'm not pleased with the company but I also think I can fix it...

I had a black female boss once. I quit, lol

and my $hit JUST rolled over. I'm finna get ALL THE THINGS done. All of them .

enjoyed the last week of the year at work. it was mad slow, so I just passed a vendor software test and browsed the web.

our IT (I lump you all together) folks are running around like chickens. Apparently, they rolled out a new program and it ain't working right. Why they wait until everyone was on vacation to do it is beyond me...

I had to have my password reset. I forgot it.

I had 10 emails this morning. none from clients, so I'm good to go.

had my 1 install this morning cut short cuz the client wasn't ready.

chillin.

That ate up my whole last week and then I passed it on to the missus. Guess we're real family now because that's the first bug that's bounced between us.

Got to Texas Friday slept. Partied Saturday. Came to my parents Sunday and now we're just camped out. Spending the day with the neice. She's two and the clone image of my sister at that age.

But their personalities are so different. My sister liked to be quiet and play by herself, this one is everywhere and she loves her Auntie and Uncle. I was worried that my wife wouldn't get to spend time with her because she was out of commission, all she talked about for months was how excited she was to get to play with her.

So we volunteered to babysit today. And they're having a ball.

I thought you had children, no?

No kids yet. We just started trying last month and now we gotta tap the brakes as she gets the chicken pox vaccine. So four months we'll try again.

But they didn't come through, and I didn't go through .... so never saw them over the holidays.

Holidays are over now....

Am I wrong for keeping these joints for my own use?
