events where there's no annoying Aunties. Hell, when Questlove said he had never even heard the Wobble or seen the dance before until two years ago, I knew he was far removed from doing that type shit.

But this is actually how a lotta folks feel, and it's why I try not to do as many BBQ's, 50th B-Days, and family type events anymore...just not the same prestige, even though they may actually pay as much or more than poppin clubs. It's hard though, because as a club DJ, unless you really have a huge, huge following, and you're in the highest of high demand, you're dependent on club promoters or owners to keep hiring you. I've seen so many top club DJs fall off within the last 6-8 years.
