13108161, holy shit b/w what is the fascination with fireworks in Latin America?
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Tue Dec-20-16 11:48 PM
i dunno about all over but for sure in mexico, colombia, venezuela, and some other places they fucking love fireworks. the mayor in medellin has buses that have to cheat to pass inspection polluting the air and bums in the street up to the rich neighborhoods but that mf'er is still dropping 100K a shot on fireworks like every other month. for the first of december a bunch of narcos drop guap on a big show, too. i get that americans have big displays but it's mostly the fourth of july, new year's, disney and MLB behind it and few people seem all that impressed.

No joke. I was in Alhambra and I saw trees on fire and shit. Felt like something out of Platoon.

13108466, Can you imagine dying in that fire?

I mean, I keep hoping that the Ghost Ship people died of smoke inhalation. I don't even know what the Fireworks factory explosion/fire would have been like.

This is horrifying. The count is 32 people last I heard.

It's like shit is dropping around the world :-(
