for the first time in 10 years, I'm getting away from my office and outside of the building for approximately an hour daily.

The theory being that moving around a little and getting some fresh air will wake me up, motivate me, and give me perspective.

You know what though. It's just one more opportunity to not want to go back in the building.

Oh, and if I take a late lunch so my day's more than halfway over when I go back in.

half the time I have a book with me, the other half I leave it at home thinking "Oh I don't need to bring a book" jesus christ where is my head.

If I take lunch late, it's just one more reason not to go back. :-(

do you think i should be back in there filing papers or doing work that should be delegated but the delegates are clueless so i gotta do it

im not trying to talk shit but you remind me of my sister, she too is shackled to her job day and night, and i just want to hug people like you when taking time for ones self is considered an act of rebellion or something necessary for survival

its easy being a guy. we just wank.

I'm chained by outside elements, such as the need for money with which to purchase cat food. I'm feeling very strongly about following The Rules, no more overtime, take my scheduled "breaks" and "lunch", and leave on the dot of my scheduled work day.

I have been the most loyal and dedicated employee for more than 10 years and I'm not seeing any benefit from that, so I'm like fuck it, I will be a worker and not a partner.

i go out all the time but even if i don't, even if we order luch mor my whole team and everybody else just taken it at they desk. i'm stepping away and eating elsewhere for 30+ min wil i read a book. it's the only thing that keeps me from smacking fools by 4 o'clock.
