it's like she's completely dissapearing inside him. Something drawing towards them too... the carpet, it seems to crumble towards them or something..; the light above them, the music player, shell type shape. don't know what this means...

don't remeber the name, but he dropped the same vase every exposition, and then glued it back together... it evolved and aged that way.

I tried to draw this back in high school. As good as I was back then I simply couldn't get it right.

"Where was the peace when we were getting shot? Where's the peace when we were getting laid out?
Where is the peace when we are in the back of ambulances? Where is the peace then?
They don't want to call for peace then.

I think if I go back to drawing, it'll be more along these lines.

"Where was the peace when we were getting shot? Where's the peace when we were getting laid out?
Where is the peace when we are in the back of ambulances? Where is the peace then?
They don't want to call for peace then.

It's located at the Getty Museum (the Getty Center, not the Getty Villa), and is so fragile, it cannot be moved, which is why it's one of the few paintings they won't loan to another museum. I've also seen the preparatory painting he made for this piece, which of course is much smaller, but just as beautiful. Also, if i remember correctly, he painted his mother (or mother in law) into the picture, but did not get along with her, so painted her ugly.
13102836, Claude Monet "The Portal of Rouen Cathedral in Morning Light."

What's interesting and incredibly beautiful about this painting, is that from a foot away, it looks like nothing, but walk ten feet back, turn around, and you can clearly see the cathedral (a lot of Monet's work is like this, but this is my favorite piece by him). This is also on view at the Getty Center.
