I went to drop my kids off this morning and the ex-cop security guard and a parent were just beaming. I overheard when I walked talking to each other "welcome to the trail of tears, we've been living it the last 8 years"
I think among the many motivating factors for Trump voters, one was just seeing the pained look on progressives face once he won. They are eating up our public displays of pain.
Even the white progressive parents looking sad gave me an extra "How are YOU doing this morning?" and I refuse to let any of these folks see me sweat.
I'll save the tears for home.
