Before Bernie-mania hit the streets the prospective nominees for Prez were a bunch of also-ran types.

Bernie represented an ideal, and I think that's why he was so popular (and he had the DNC nipping on their heels).

they'll get away with this one, and possibly 2020, but the Democrats (IMO) are on the verge of being the New Republicans, just with 79% less racism and sexism, and 120% more neoliberalism. if they're not already there.
